SINK Monkey


A kitchen sink handle attachment that increases the force required by the user when using a flow rate above 50%. It acts as a teaching tool to help children and young adults visualize and reduce their excessive water usage. Detailed sustainability study found here.

TACTILE MAP
A tactile map of Galbraith lecture hall for the OSD at UCSD. Utilizes raised surfaces, engravings, and textures to help visually impaired individuals to navigate unfamiliar environments. I developed the symbology, braille, and textures within Adobe Illustrator, then SolidWorks to create a 3D model Detailed report found here.

BUFFS

A social media app that helps users find movies and shows to watch. They can make posts by rating or recommending content. Guides the user to more enjoyable content through social suggestions. Working prototype can be found here.




Drowse-E Cover
A steering wheel cover designed to detect and alert driver's who are falling asleep at the wheel. Developed a flexible, pressure sensor utilizing conductive thread and piezo-resistive material. Calculates grip pressure as a measurement of a driver's drowsiness. Final prototype was capable of sensing drastic decreases and/or dangerous levels of grip pressure, and alerting the driver through a sequence of high frequency noises and vibrations.
